I usually update at least once a week (with an occasional week off), but sometimes I update even more frequently. I try to gently introduce Warhammer 40k lore as I go along for anyone who isn't very familiar with that universe, and is here because of the Oz tags. Frank Baum's literary work is not required to enjoy this story, but it certainly makes it fun. This is primarily a Warhammer 40k fic embellished with elements taken from the general Oz universe, with special attention to 'The Wizard of Oz' (1939 film), and 'Return to Oz' (1985 film). An epic 'weak to strong' tale as a possible new God-Empress of Mankind navigates her uncertain future in a frightening new reality. A grimdark take on 'The Wizard of Oz' with sprinkles of black humor. She embarks on a quest with her new friends to discover the secrets of the Warp itself so that she may return home. When a normal woman who enjoys writing fanfiction somehow gains the attention of the Chaos Gods, she is pulled into the Warhammer 40k universe.
